Ectoplasm
This photograph was taken with an old-styled Polaroid land camera in 1959 at a location on north Damon Ave. in Hanover Park, Illinois which no longer exists. It shows a real girl standing on the stairs and this strange mist-like substance which seems to be exuding from her stomach region and collecting along the entire stairway. Some parts are translucent while others seem visually opaque. This may be a psychic photograph; in other words ectoplasm being produced by a living person. Externalization of thought.
First of all if it is an extoplasmic trail it is not coming from the girl. THe strongest point is on the bottom of the screen adn the weakest at the left fo the middle of the stairs. So if this is an untampered picture it cuaght a spirit going down the stairs.
Based ont eh shape of the strongest region it may actually be a door way that temnporarily opened between the spirit plain and ours.
But it can always be edited.
